Indian Ivory Writing Slope

Anglo Indian writing slope, made in Vizagapatam, Coromandel coast, Wood covered in Ivory, with etched foliage decorations. The decorations are very similar to Chintz from the period which were also produced on the same coast. The slope dates from early 1700′s, will be posting other ivory Vizagapatam ivory boxes and a vanity mirror from the same period soon.
