A unique kalamkari hanging for a temple dating from the 17th Cent. Nayaka court culture, 100 cm by 153 cm. This piece was on display at Victoria & Albert Museum from 2004 to 2010. Illustrated in John Guy’s Book on Indian Temple Sculpture, V & A publication, 2007. He also presented a paper on this textile titled, Courtly and Divine Love; Passion and Bhakti in Nayaka Kalamkari for The Metropolitan Museum Of Art in NY.
